The Book Cover Archive
I have purchased books for the sole reason that the cover catches my eye. You should never judge a blah blah blah blah, but if its really cool looking, at least from my experiences, chances are the book itself will turn out to be just as cool and enjoyable.

This site is so thorough they have a collection of books on book cover design.

Wounded Dove world, world Wounded Dove
I was gonna lie and say this was our band from High School, but I couldn't decide who I would be. Shades obviously screams Conor, the tall one is too tall, so it was a toss up between Arm band and Ties. Ties is clearly the front man, he did get to prop his leg up, but Arm band has that quiet confidence look (often confused with the raging temper look), you can just tell he is gonna be somebody. God this is tough, but I am gonna have to go with Arm band, I like his smile plus I don't think I could ever pull off those jeans Ties is wearing.

RoboCop & Beer? Um.... sure.
Illustrator Tyler Stout created this poster for a RoboCop screening at The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Austin, TX. Too bad this already happened, and I live in Chicago.

He also did these posters for 'The Decemberists' and 'Flight of the Concords'

Check out more of his awesome work @....
